Welcome to Lizard Junk dot Net, the online fanart portfolio of Lizard Spots (that's me). :D I'm primarily a Harry Potter artist, so most of the stuff you'll see linked below will be based on that universe unless stated otherwise.

WARNING:
A lot of my work contains homosexual and heterosexual themes, some is even rather explicit - and so to spare your sensibilities (and my own skin) please take care whilst browsing around as I don't display excessive warnings beyond this initial warning text.

WHERE'S IT GONE?:
I post all my artwork as soon as it's done on my LiveJournal. I've had ongoing issues keeping up both my website and LJ concurrently due to RL time constraints, so I have decided to move all my artwork off-site. This will be good for everyone - less work for me, and always up-to-date art gallery for any of you intrepid visitors. :D

WHAT FANDOMS HAVE YOU DRAWN?:
As of this moment (25th April '09!) I have done fanart for: Harry Potter, BBC's Merlin, Stargate SG-1, Pirates of the Caribbean, house M.D., Juxtapose Fantasy, Dr Who/Torchwood, Peter Pan.... and a few one-off others. :D

While I am first and foremost an artist, I have dabbled in writing fanfiction a few times. Below is my measly collection of fics, and if you are so inclined, I would be thrilled if you read any of them. :D Feedback vastly appreciated!

Summary: It was Jack's duty as a pirate and a scallywag to put Elizabeth out of her misery.
Notes: A missing scene from the second film.

WHO ARE YOU?:
My name is Lizard Spots! :D 23 year old gal from London, Harry Potter fan, amateur artist, and struggling Medical student.

WHAT MEDIUMS DO YOU USE?:
I use a Wacom tablet with Open Canvas and Photoshop most of the time. When I have the time and patience to spare, I use pencils, inks, and watercolours.

DO YOU TAKE COMMISSIONS?:

CAN I USE YOUR ART TO MAKE GRAPHICS?:
Commission art is strictly off limits for graphics. However, you may use any of my other art pieces for icons/avatars without asking my permission. For anything else, please email me first. :)

THE DEAL:
I will do art from any fandom, in any genre, at any rating. Book-based fandom art will be in my own illustrative style, and I’ll try to draw TV-based fandom art as closely resembling the actors as I can (unless you specify otherwise). I’ll also do original art.

YOU SHOULD TELL ME:

If you want original art, be sure to describe in excruciating detail what your characters look like. I don’t want to get anything wrong! If the art will be used for commercial stuff, email me and we'll discuss it - the below pricing does not apply.

BASE PRICES:
All in British Pounds Sterling. These base prices are for upto two characters rendered in a single colour (full cross-hatched shading) with minimal background on an 8″ x 11.5″ (A4) canvas.

+ Digital art: 72dpi [ £12 ]
+ Pencil art: 300dpi scan [ £16 ]
+ Inked art: 300dpi scan [ £20 ]

+ NEW!!! Digital flash art for tattoos: 72dpi [ £8+ ] (to be priced at my discretion)

EXTRAS:
In addition to the base prices.

+ Additional characters: [ £5 ] per character
+ Background: depending on complexity and size [ £5-£20 ]
+ Colour: digital/watercolours, depending on complexity and size [ £8-£20 ]

SHIPPING:
For pencil, ink & watercolour pieces.

+ Ordinary shipping within the UK: no additional charge.
+ Priority shipping within the UK: [ £3 ]

+ Priority shipping outside the UK: [ £6 ]

For orders costing more than £40, I will throw in shipping for free. This does NOT count for priority shipping outside the UK, though.
